Relief India trust in their medical awareness camps has taught children and adults the importance of hand washing especially during the three critical times namely; before eating, after visiting the toilets and after changing the babies diapers or napkins. There has been a significant success in fighting diseases like typhoid, cholera and dysentery by adoption of this practice. The trust organization has also ensured more and more schools have hand washing areas, and that they set a time to teach the children how to wash hands properly while reminding them of the importance.
